1. Install the Single Merchant Card Mini-App
If you haven’t already, go to the Mini-Apps tab in the Klutch app or web app.
Find the Single Merchant Card mini-app and click Install.
2. Generate a New Card
After installation, a Single Merchant Card panel will appear on your homepage.
Click the Generate New button.
On the card creation page, you’ll be able to:
Give your card a name.
Set an optional spending limit.
Click Create Card to finalize.
3. First Use and Merchant Locking
Once created, your new card will appear on your homepage labeled Unassigned.
After your first transaction, the card will automatically lock to that merchant.
From then on, only transactions with that same merchant will be approved.
4. What Happens if You Use a Different Merchant?
If a different merchant tries to charge the card, the transaction will be declined.
You’ll receive a text message asking if you’d like to approve the new merchant.
Just reply “YES” to the text, and the new merchant will be added to that card.
With a Single Merchant Card, you can confidently shop knowing your virtual card is locked to merchants you trust—making it harder for unauthorized charges to sneak through.
