When is my payment due?
Your payment due date is shown on your monthly statement and in the Klutch app. Users with the Klutch Credit Card, payments are due on the 26th of each month. You must pay at least the minimum amount due by that date to keep your account in good standing. If you're using the Klutch Spend Card, there is no due date since you fund the account in advance.
What happens if I pay late?
If you miss your payment due date on the Klutch Credit Card, your account may be subject to a late fee and reported as past due. This could also affect your credit score. We strongly encourage on-time payments to avoid any negative consequences. The Klutch Spend Card does not involve due dates or minimum payments, so late payment is not a concern for that product.
Can I set up autopay?
Yes. You can set up autopay directly in the Klutch app. This allows you to automatically pay your statement balance or minimum payment each month, so you never miss a due date. You'll receive reminders and confirmations as payments are scheduled and processed.
What is the custom autopay mini-app?
The custom autopay mini-app lets you set flexible, personalized payment rules instead of a one-size-fits-all autopay setting. You choose when to pay—daily, weekly, monthly, or when your balance hits a threshold—and how much to pay, such as the minimum, a fixed amount, full balance, balance due, or a percentage.
For example, you can set a rule like: “Pay 20% of my balance every Friday,” or “Pay my full balance if it’s under $1,000.” You can update or cancel these rules anytime in the Klutch app.
How long does it take for a payment to post?
Payments made via ACH bank transfer typically take 3 to 5 business days to post. If your payment is submitted after the daily cutoff time, it may begin processing the next business day. Until it's fully posted, the payment will appear as “pending.”
As our system learns your payment behavior and builds trust over time, payments may be cleared more quickly—sometimes even on the same day.
Why is my payment still pending?
Pending status means your payment is still processing through the banking system. This is normal for ACH payments, especially if made after business hours or on a Friday. Once the funds clear, your account will update automatically.
Can I make a payment from any bank account?
Yes, you can link and make payments from any U.S.-based checking or savings account that supports ACH transfers. Please make sure the account is in your name. Payments from business or third-party accounts may be rejected.
What happens if a payment fails?
If a payment fails—for example, due to insufficient funds or an incorrect account number—it will be reversed and marked as failed. You’ll be notified, and your available balance or credit limit will be adjusted accordingly. Multiple failed payments may impact your account status.
How can I speed up my payment processing?
The best way to speed up payment processing is to initiate payments early in the day and avoid weekends or holidays, since ACH transfers only process on business days.
Over time, as our system learns your payment behavior and establishes a history of successful transfers, your payments may be credited more quickly—potentially even on the same day.
Can I use my debit card or send a wire to make a payment?
Not at this time. We only support ACH transfers from linked U.S. bank accounts. Debit card payments are not currently supported for funding your Klutch account or repaying your balance.
When are statements sent?
Monthly statements for the Klutch Credit Card are generated on the 5th of each month. You’ll receive an email notification when your statement is ready, and you can also view it anytime in the Klutch app.
Will I receive a statement in the mail?
No. All statements are delivered electronically. You can access your statements directly from the Klutch app or through your email notifications. We do not mail paper statements.
Can I send a check to make a payment?
We do not accept check payments at this time. All payments must be made electronically via a linked bank account using ACH transfer. This ensures faster and more secure processing.
How can I link my bank account?
You can link your bank account directly through the Klutch app. When prompted to fund your Klutch Spend Card or make a payment on your Klutch Credit Card, you'll be guided through a secure process to connect your account using your bank login credentials. We partner with trusted third-party providers to ensure your information is encrypted and protected.
If you prefer, you can also manually enter your routing and account numbers. In some cases, we may make a small test deposit to confirm ownership of the account before it becomes active for payments.
Once your bank account is successfully linked, you can use it for both funding and repayment.
